Jewelry & Metals Lab Tech/ Studio Monitor - Jan. 2025 -Present, San Diego State University

  • Ensured students were using tools safely while performing techniques correctly,

  • Demonstrated techniques for students and helped them problem solve while completing projects.

  • Maintained studio and tools cleanliness, and maintained and prepared materials for classes.

Jewelry Student Co-op Treasurer - Aug. 2024 -Present, San Diego State University

  • Played a prominent role in the development of the proposal and budgeting of a grant to send the organization to New York City Jewelry Week

  • Provided members with networking opportunities with industry professionals, as well as exposure to new techniques and current work in the field.

  • Managed $30,000 of funding while being responsible for the timely submission of forms, orders, and the purchase of transportation and event tickets.

Visitor Experience Associate - Oct. 2024 -Sept. 2025, Mingei International Museum

  • Ensure visitors feel welcomed within the institution through friendly interaction

  • Educated visitors on current exhibitions and specific information on displayed artwork beyond what is presented, as well as on handmade items being sold in the shop.

  • Played a role in building a database for over 300 pieces with a full condition and provenance report.

  • Developed art handling skills and other techniques used while documenting work, including photographing, packing, and repacking, and identifying the work’s condition.

  • Went through documents, film slides, letters, magazines, and other physical and digital materials to fully note each piece’s provenance.
